Our Mission

Changing Our Image Now (COIN) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to building a haven of hope. 

We aspire to help young adults in the Lowcountry of South Carolina to find their purpose and discover hope where hopelessness resides due to external and internal challenges.

Through our personal development and coaching program, we seek to elevate, if not redefine, youth empowerment and transformation.

We work in partnership with our stakeholders and aim to achieve our mission of creating hope and career opportunities for young adults who seek to live a better life.

Our Philosophy

We believe an essential component of COIN is cognitive restructuring. It is used to counter negative perceptions based on a history disconnection from the constantly changing Lowcountry.

Our approach is holistic. We partner with individuals, families, employers and other community organizations to connect in building a whole person and whole family connected to their community, faith and future.

Our Goal

Break the generation of social and economic poverty cycle by finding sustained career opportunities for 100% of COIN students each year.
